Mother's Day
As I think about the upcoming Mother's Day I think about my past and what a mother means to me. It is more than someone who gave birth to you, or shares your genes, even more than someone who loves you more than anything in the world.
A Mother is someone who is tough when needed, but holds you when your down. Who can look at you and say everything on their mind without making a sound. Someone who knows how your day has gone by what your wearing! This is what my Grandmother is to me, all who have met me know that my "mother" was not a big part of my teenage years, nor did she help me to develop life skills or responsibility. I am thankful that the one decision she made for me was the best thing that's ever happened to me, (it was the day she took me to my Grannie's and asked her to take care of me.)
My grandmother is the strongest most caring and forgiving woman I know and although she is not my mother I don't know what I would have done with out her. She has taught me responsibility for my decisions, forgiveness for those who've hurt me, respect for myself , my home and others, confidence in every decision I make, and Love for anyone; no matter what they've done!
On Mother's Day I think of the woman without whom I'd be lost; and hope that for many more years, and when I have children of my own they will also know and love the woman who I would be honored to call my mother!!! I Love you and Hope you have a Wonderful Mother's Day!!!!

*ALMOST DONE*
While this semester has been my busiest ever with 12 hrs. and 40+ hr. work weeks, It has flown by faster than any other! I can't believe I'm almost done with my 3rd yr of college... It has taken forever and I still have 3 to go!! SOMEONE HELP ME!!!! Although things are looking up because I love my new job and Jerod is flying through his school work, (he will definitely finish before me but he's had the same major the entire time), me I change my mind every semester. I'm so proud of him I swear sometimes I look at his books to help him review for a test and my brain freezes in terror!!! He tries to quiz me in order to improve his knowledge but I get mad before he even finishes the question!! It's frustrating to know that no matter how much you learn and how hard you try you will never be on the same intellectual knowledge as the person your dating!!! ha ha that's all for now can't wait to see what the summer brings!

*The "other" man in my life*

The new member in our little family is named Gizmo!!! We are completely in love and couldn't imagine living without him now! We first laid eyes on him while I was teasing myself at the Mckinney trade days! I wasn't planning on getting a dog but as soon as I saw him I was in love!! I had to remove myself from the situation and decided to sleep on it when I had my head cleared!! The next morning (Jerod, who was protesting it all day telling me how much we didn't need a dog) wakes up and says "so... are we gonna go get Gizmo or not" Whose Gizmo? he had already named him! We went immediately with Jonah to pick up our little bundle!! Best decision I--We've ever made!!!
